practice was established in 1991 by Emma Poole and since that time
has evolved to incorporate a team of three osteopaths working to offer
a broad background and experience to include both structural and cranial
of the osteopaths have gone through four years full training at accredited
institutions and are full members of the General Osteopathic Council,
the regulating body for all osteopaths. Our patients are often self-referred
or referred from the local GPs and are looking for relief of symptoms
froma wide range of problems. These include back or neck pain, postural
problems caused by work or pregnancy, the pain of arthritis andd sports
related injuries. We also provide treatment for babies with symptoms
such as colic or sleeplessness using gentle structural and/or cranial
We are very aware that when a patient understands their problem and
are given ways to help themselves the results are much better and
this also helps to prevent problems re-occuring. When a full diagnosis
has been reached, your osteopath will explain the problems to you
before commencing treatment. We also give advice on specific exercises,
or suggest the undertaking of particular activity such as Pilates,
swimming etc. that is particular to their individual needs.
Often people want to reach optimum health to persue a particular sport
or activity and we enjoy discussing how they can work to prevent problems
or gain a high standard of physical performance for a particular sport

can be made by telephone (020 8870 0822) or on visiting the practice,
but not on-line. Please note that there may be a fee for any appointments
that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice to ensure that someone

examine you by looking at your posture and movements. The examination
usually requires that you undress to your underwear. We are then able
to evaluate your problem and make a diagnosis which will be explained

sometimes excluded and we are happy to discuss the pros and cons if
